Our Care Specialists are MMHC clinicians who have special expertise in listening to your story and translating your needs into a treatment plan that will deliver the care you need from the right providers or services.

After scheduling your Care Specialist visit, we’ll reach out with our intake packet, including any additional personal or contact information, insurance or payment information and any consents around privacy or communication preferences.

In your first visit, you’ll meet with a licensed clinician who specializes in clinical navigation. This 30–45 minute session is designed to gather key information about your background, current concerns, and goals for care. The clinician will use this information to ensure you’re matched with the most appropriate provider or care team to support your mental health journey.

We believe that you are best served when you have a strong, clinical & personal connection with your provider, which we call Therapeutic Alliance. In addition, we look to see which services MMHC offers like individual therapy, medication management, group therapy or specialty clinics like trauma or diagnostic testing.
